Our screening helps to identify health risks which are predictive for future illness and disease. At Health Project we consider health checks to be a "first step" in our clients Health & Wellbeing plan. Bio-Impedance Analysis: is the latest technology in measuring body composition ie; body fat, muscle mass, cellular fluid balance and biological age.

This technology is based on a science that was originally developed for monitoring patients after surgery in a hospital setting and has been used in space technology to monitor changes to the astronaut’s body composition.  Biological impedance analysis helps uncover the underlying factors affecting your health and consequently, treatment is personalised and specific.

It is a safe, non-invasive screening tool

Having a biological impedance analysis will give you an insight into key areas of your health such as:

-        Your biomarker index - estimate of biological age (how well your body is ageing)

-        Body composition – ideal weight, skeletal tissue, BMI

-        Fat mass and active tissue mass (skeletal muscle)

-        Quality of active tissue mass (energy, cell membrane health)

-        Cellular Fluid Balance (total body water, extracellular and intracellular water)

-        Metabolic Risk (estimate of risk for metabolic syndrome)

-        Calorie and water requirement
